র্যাব-১১, সিপিসি-২ এর অভিযানে ৩,৭৫০ পিস ইয়াবা ট্যাবলেট’সহ ০১ জন মাদক ব্যবসায়ী গ্রেফতার।
র্যাপিড এ্যাকশন ব্যাটালিয়ন (র্যাব)-১১ গত ০৫ আগষ্ট ২০২৪ তারিখ হতে অদ্যবধি দায়িত্বপূর্ণ এলাকায় বিভিন্ন অভিযানে চাঞ্চল্যকর অপরাধী ৫৩ জন গ্রেফতার, হত্যা মামলায় ৭০ জন গ্রেফতার, ধর্ষণ মামলায় ৩২ জন গ্রেফতার, অস্ত্র সংক্রান্ত মামলায় ০৮ জন গ্রেফতারসহ ৭৯ টি অস্ত্র, ১২৭০ রাউন্ড গোলাবারুদ উদ্ধার এবং ২২০ জন এর অধিক মাদক কারবারি গ্রেফতারসহ বিপুল পরিমাণ মাদক উদ্ধার করে। পাশাপাশি ৩৬ জন অপহরণকারী গ্রেফতারসহ ২৫ জন ভিকটিম উদ্ধার এবং ছিনতাইকারী ও ডাকাত ৪৪ জন, জেল পলাতক ৩৩ জনসহ অন্যান্য অপরাধী প্রায় ২২০ জনকে গ্রেফতার করে আইনের আওতায় এনে র্যাব-১১ জনগণের সুনাম অর্জন করতে সক্ষম হয়েছে।
২। অদ্য ১৬ মার্চ ২০২৫ ইং তারিখ রাতে র্যাব-১১, সিপিসি-২ এর একটি বিশেষ আভিযানিক দল গোপন সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে কুমিল্লা জেলার কোতয়ালী মডেল থানাধীন আমতলী এলাকায় মাদক বিরোধী অভিযান পরিচালনা করে। উক্ত অভিযানে মোঃ রাকিবুল হাসান রিয়াদ (২৮) নামক ০১ জন মাদক ব্যবসায়ীকে গ্রেফতার করতে সক্ষম হয়, যার বিরুদ্ধে বিভিন্ন থানায় পূর্বে রুজুকৃত মোট ১২ টি মামলা রয়েছে। এ সময় আসামীর হেফাজত হতে ৩,৭৫০ পিস ইয়াবা ট্যাবলেট ও মাদক পরিবহণ কাজে ব্যবহৃত ০১ টি মোটরসাইকেল উদ্ধার করা হয়।
প্রাথমিক অনুসন্ধানে জানা যায়, গ্রেফতারকৃত আসামী মোঃ রাকিবুল হাসান রিয়াদ (২৮) কুমিল্লা জেলার কোতয়ালী মডেল থানার বালুতুপা গ্রামের মোঃ জসিম উদ্দিন এর ছেলে। গ্রেফতারকৃত আসামীকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে আরো জানায় যে, সে দীর্ঘদিন ধরে মাদকদ্রব্য ইয়াবা সংগ্রহ করে দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে মাদক ব্যবসায়ী ও মাদক সেবীদের নিকট পাইকারি ও খুচরা মূল্যে বিক্রয় করে আসছে। র্যাব-১১ এর মাদক বিরোধী ধারাবাহিক অভিযানের অংশ হিসেবে উক্ত অভিযান পরিচালনা করা হয়। মাদকের মতো সামাজিক ব্যাধির বিরুদ্ধে র্যাব-১১ এর অভিযান অব্যাহত থাকবে। গ্রেফতারকৃত আসামীর বিরুদ্ধে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়াধীন।
